This Rococo facade is a remainder of the former Hotel de Fraula, which was built in 1737 according to J.P. van Baurscheit de Jongere's plans. In 1963 the building was destroyed, but G. De Belder managed to save the fassade. In 1986 a restauration followed for the General Bank (now Fortis).
