The Good Workmanshouse (GWW) ordered the construction of three slyslrappers as social flats . The two highest buildings were named after 'Eduard Anseele' and 'Edmond Van Beveren' for the third it was 'Georges Nachez'.

The plans were drawn in 1957 by Geo Bontinck . In augustus 1961 it was said that one of the buildings would sink. A thorow investigation has denied this roumor. In the modernistic/a> tradition Geo Bontinck tried to diminish the impact of the buildings on the environment, by leaving the ground floor open.

Round Newyear 1963 the first inhabitants could take in in the E.Anseele residence. In june 1963 followed the residence E.Van Beveren and in may 1965, residence G.Nachez.

From the beginning on there were problem with water infiltration.Begin the years 1980 it was so enormous and there were some pieces of
concrete that fell down. There were racks installed with roofs around the building to protect the people.

Between 1989 and 1991 the renovation started under the orders of the architect Ro Berteloot. The old walls were coverred with new modern aluminium panels, what makes a new isolating sheet. Rubbishchuters were renewed and the ground floor was closed.
