The prestigous and modern Flanders Language Village, with in the centre the famous, because of bancrupty, Lernhout & Hauspie, was built with support from the EU in order to stimulate this poor region. The main building is an (office building is used by Pincanol. It was built between 1997 and 1999 with architect office Toon Breyne.
