Saint-Jan Berchmans was born in this house in a row (that in fact is called 'De Gulden Maan-the golden moon' ) the 13th march 1599.geboren.

The native house was rebuilt during the 19th century into a chapel (from there the bell)and a museum, where the most important facts of his life are to be shown.
