This shopping galery was built in 1881-1882 by architect Henri Rieck, and can be considered as the small brother of the Royal Galery.



In fact is was a street, covered by a glass roof, ornated by statues.



In its days, it was a 'culture centre'. There were several theatres, and the Castan museum ...



When the last theatre closed its doors in 1906, slowly, it went downhill...
