The Museum for antique art was built in accordance with the plans of amongst others Alphonse Balat from 1874-1880, architect at the court of the king Leopold II. In the fassade of the Regence street is a statue by amongst others Charles Van der Stappen, Paul De Vigne and Thomas Vinçotte. (With our thanks to Jurgen Coysman)
