This post office was built in 1894 according to Alfons Van
Houcke's plans.
It has a remarkable corner tower, which passes from suare ground plan to 8
angular, and is crowned by a nice spire with few dormers
and a lantern roof. Lower on the tower, there is an
oculus and a horseshoe arch around the
window.
The building is also remakrable for game of colors. The black
roof contrasts to the white cornice, and the red walls to the white and
gold decoration.
