After Didier Kreczman: This castle stands in the small town (La) Gleixhe (not to mess up with La Gleize in Sprimont). This castle consists of a Middelage part (the tower), a part Mosane Renaissance (clearly recognizable in red) and a backside from the 18th century (not so visisble because at the back and not so high).
Jacqueline Gouch: 'This beautiful chateau is situated in a forest overlooking the church at glexhe and can be seen from the village below called Awirs which is in the commune of Flemalle. You can reach the chateau by foot taking the main road from Awirs to Horion Hozemont and then take the road on the right towards the church at Glexhe and continuing past the church through the woods, up to the chateau. It is more beautiful than the picture depicts and has a romantic eeriness that surpasses any 50's dracular movie I have seen. hope that it stays in the family for many years to come. An architectural delight. If you visit this area you should also visit the Chateau d'Aigremont which is in the same village.'
