This castle consists of a Middelage part (the tower), a part Mosane Renaissance (clearly recognizable in red) and a backside from the 18th century (not so visisble because at the back and not so high).

You can reach the chateau by foot taking the main road from Awirs to Horion Hozemont and then take the road on the right towards the church at Glexhe and continuing past the church through the woods, up to the chateau. It is more beautiful than the picture depicts and has a romantic eeriness that surpasses any 50's dracular movie I have seen. hope that it stays in the family for many years to come.
